Discount Baby Items
As mothers, we have a tendency to go overboard when it comes to baby items. They're just so cute!!
And we spend way to much buying more items than we need to. Especially for our first child!
If you are looking to save money on baby items, you can find terrific deals on eBay.
I personally recommend having the following types of baby items on hand:
Hooded Towels
While you can use a regular adult towel, these are just so adorable! Plus they are so soft, and easy to use.
Sleeping Bags
In a cooler climate, or during the colder season, my favorite nighty for baby is a simple sleeping bag. They have no legs, just an open bag. They have arm sleeves, and zip up from top to bottom. In the middle of the night, this is the easiest way to change a diaper.
Socks
Baby socks are so expensive! Plus, if your house is anything like mine, you have a "dryer monster" who steals ONE SOCK from each of your loads of laundry. Buy used baby socks in a large lot on eBay. They are cheaper, just as cute, and not as painful when the monster strikes.
Sheets
Baby crib sheets and bassinet sheets can easily be found on eBay for a fraction of the cost you would pay at a store. Have a good supply of these on hand. Despite your best intentions, figure you may go through 3 or 4 of them some nights.
